Additional Requirements: - Experienced candidates with up to 6 years in FMCG Sales/Modern Trade will be given preference.
- Experience in Modern Trade (super shops, hypermarkets, departmental stores) is an added advantage.

- Excellent communication skills; strict discouragement of local dialect usage in corporate communication.
- Strong negotiation ability for listings, placements, and promotions.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and email communication.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market insights (mandatory for senior roles).
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams (senior level).
Responsibilities & Context: Job Description / Responsibilities
We are expanding our Modern Trade team and looking for dynamic, driven, and growth-focused professionals. Selected candidates will be placed in roles ranging from Sales Executive to Manager-Level positions, based on their experience and competencies.
Key Responsibilities include:
Modern Trade Relationship & Execution
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with outlet owners, managers, buyers, and merchandisers.
- Ensure flawless in-store execution: planogram compliance, POSM placement, merchandising standards, and visibility improvements.
- Negotiate and secure premium shelf spaces, eye-level placements, and
- promotional displays.
Sales Growth & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (volume & value).
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies & action plans to drive Modern Trade growth.
- Track and report on sales performance, credit limits, collections, and market trends.
Account & Business Management
- Identify and onboard new Modern Trade partners including supermarkets,
- hypermarkets, and departmental stores.
- Lead new product listing processes with key decision-makers.
- Negotiate trading terms, contracts, and commercial agreements.
- Monitor account profitability, take corrective actions, and ensure ROI on trade investments.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Modern Trade partners. Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with Supply Chain & Logistics for uninterrupted product delivery.
- Coordinate with Marketing & E-Commerce for activation, promotions.
- Guide and mentor field sales teams, merchandisers, and junior team members (for senior-level roles).
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Submit daily sales and visit reports via CRM or sales application.
- Analyze sales data, shopper insights, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
- Present monthly reviews and actionable plans to management (for senior-level roles).
