∎ Sales & Application - Account Manager / Account Specialist (Food and Nutritional Ingredients)
∎ Region Responsibility : Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role entails development and sales of chemicals including Food Ingredients, Specialty Additives & Excipients, and responsible to give first hand technical support to various applications counting Food/Pharmaceutical/Paint & Coating & other industrial applications.
∎ The candidate will work as a member of Sales & Application Team and will be responsible for existing sales & new business developments thru identifying the potential customers & account receivable.
∎ Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base, product portfolio base and to ensure its strong presence in the industry verticals.
∎ Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
∎ Business development thru new project generation, keep track of ongoing projects, hunting of new business, providing technical assistance/ application knowledge to the product development team at manufacturer end, mapping new markets, research and gather industry requirements, updating customers with new product line, capabilities of various gap analysis.
∎ The position will be liable for daily call report using CRM system, monthly sales report, supplier report and any other reports as decided by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Solid techno commercial sales experience, preferably in chemistry sales.
∎ Working experiences both in R&D and Sales will be added advantage.
∎ 7 - 10 years in experience in specialty chemical sales & is striving for techno commercial sales career. Technically savvy in chemical field and have track record of new business development & have entrepreneurship attitude.
∎ Candidate has to be comfortable and enthusiastic to do extensive travel (domestic and overseas) for business development and training.
∎ Capability of taking extensive factory visits & aptitude to establish two-way communications with R&D scientist is a MUST requirement.
∎ Adding values and have skill set to explore the sales & development opportunities thru a clear, understandable & countable value addition to the customers. Sales approach is not only driven by price rather the intrinsic value of the combination of product quality, price, compliance & services.
∎ Critical thinker and problem solver. Not afraid to tackle an assignment in uncharted territory and are determined to find a solution rather than leaving a problem unsolved. Can assess and interpret scientific literature to develop desired or new formulation approaches.
∎ Innovative, self-starter and coming up with new products, innovative solutions, and you leverage your knowledge in the field to develop new, unique solutions to the problems, including formulation approaches not yet demonstrated. Examples to show of your past works.
∎ Curious and investigative. Experimental evaluation and testing of new products are right up your alley. Researching capability to solve problems or to analyze the competition. Work is thorough and in-depth.
∎ Excellent organizational skills. Can handle multiple assignments, plan experiments, and prioritize tasks. Understand the value of safe and organized lab and proper record keeping.
∎ Learner and a teacher. Very knowledgeable in your field and stay up-to-speed through research and education. Can transfer knowledge and apt to train and teach those around you. Can train other people in an effective, professional manner.
∎ Highly detail-oriented. Ability to catch the smallest of inconsistencies, especially when it comes to data. Attention to detail goes together with your critical thinking and innovative skill set. Approach work with a zero-error mindset and are a reliable resource for quality.

∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills carrying a very professional demeanor and are comfortable speaking and working with anyone. ∎ Computer knowledge and Email correspondence - should have knowledge in corporate mail correspondence and minimum knowledge in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation and advance Excel, etc.
