Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing and growing the business of indent and ex-stock sales of chemicals, reagents, process aids used by the R&D divisions of industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Food, and other scientific organizations
∎ Responsible for delivering the overall business P&L and margins
∎ Creating (if not readily available) a market map of all potential users of these products in the Bangladesh market
∎ Managing the day to day operations with regards to this business including but not limited to: soliciting orders from regular customers for regular products, coordinating with CSR’s in Connell to ensure delivery schedules are maintained as committed, consulting with R&D and process personnel at customers to introduce new products, to understand processes and advise on possible product usage
∎ Maintaining close relationship and contacts with suppliers so as to align on business targets, short term and mid term plans. Provides suppliers with updated and transparent information with regards to new development projects as well as operational business
∎ Analyzing scope and significance to target specific products which can have a higher sales growth rate in the Bangladesh market
∎ Creating new opportunities for business not just with existing customers but also with new customers potentially not just in Pharma and Food but also with Govt research organizations as well as global testing and QA bodies present in Bangladesh
∎ Guiding and directing team member/s to complement his/ her activities so that business growth metrics are met.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Prior sales / business development experience with chemicals and reagents used in R&D.
∎ Strong communication skills. Written, verbal as well as presentable.
∎ Ability to adapt to using new technologies for better business efficiency
∎ Strong network of colleagues, peers and other professionals in the Pharma / Food industry which can be leveraged
∎ Proven team work capabilities and demonstrated experience in working with technical products.
