Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices. Ensure these policies are effectively communicated to all employees and stakeholder .
∎ Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and evaluate existing safety measures. Develop strategies to eliminate or minimize risks and improve safety standards.
∎ Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and occupational injuries to determine root causes. Analyze trends and patterns to develop strategies for preventing future occurrences. Prepare detailed reports on incidents and recommendations for corrective actions.
∎ Training and Education: Organize and deliver safety training programs and workshops to educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, proper use of equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Promote a safety-conscious culture by fostering awareness and understanding of health and safety principles.
∎ Toolbox Meeting: Conduct toolbox meeting every morning for 5 to 10 minutes and circulate the minutes with photographs to all concerned.
∎ Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety laws, regulations, and standards, such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. Monitor and audit workplace practices, equipment, and processes to ensure they meet safety requirements. Make recommendations for improvements and corrective actions.
∎ Safety Inspections and Audits: Conduct routine inspections and audits of the workplace, including machinery, equipment, work areas, and storage areas, to identify potential hazards or violations. Collaborate with relevant departments to address non-compliance issues and implement corrective measures.
∎ Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, fire safety protocols, and first aid protocols. Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency plans and ensure employees are prepared to respond to emergencies.
∎ Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety-related data. Prepare regular reports on safety performance, including statistics, trends, and recommendations for improvement. Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.
∎ Safety Committee Participation: Act as a key member of the safety committee, collaborating with management, employees, and stakeholder representatives to address safety concerns, implement safety initiatives, and promote a positive safety culture.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in occupational health and safety. Seek opportunities to enhance safety programs and initiatives, incorporating new technologies, training methods, and risk mitigation strategies.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Additional certification is preferable like -
∎ NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, FSCD, HABC Fire Safety, Medic First Aid etc.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Health & Safety Management, Security Management, Fire Safety compliance, Risk Management etc.
∎ EHS policies and procedures
∎ Conceptual planning ability.
∎ Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
∎ Leadership ability.
∎ Multi-tasking ability.
∎ Email Communication, meeting, and presentation skills
