Valid rigger certification and knowledge of lifting regulations.

Shall have valid Passport.
Shall have basic knowledge of slinging methods, signaling and coordination with heavy equipment operators.
Shall have minimum 8 years’ experience of working as rigger.
Knowledge of various rigging tools and tackles, maintenance procedure and safety requirement of rigging tools.
Shall have acceptable knowledge of English.
Responsibilities & Context:
Plan, prepare, and execute safe lifting, rigging, and hoisting operations.
Select and inspect rigging gear such as slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and spreader beams.
Calculate or verify load weights, center of gravity, and lifting capacity.
Assist crane operators during lifting activities using standard hand signals or radio communication.
Ensure proper use of lifting equipment in accordance with safety standards.
Inspect loads and rigging equipment before and after use and report defects.
Maintain housekeeping in rigging and lifting areas.
