Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree in Economics, Business or related disciplines from a highly reputed university with excellent performance in all public examinations;

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Providing research assistance on international trade and conducting research on specific topics;
∎ Development, maintenance and strengthening of liaison with different stakeholders including government departments, trade associations, multilateral agencies and experts to strengthen training and research activities;
∎ Organisation of training, research, seminar/roundtable etc.;
∎ Building and updating of databases;
∎ Assistance in development and delivery of training modules;
∎ Supervise and guide research of junior members of the BFTI;
∎ Such other task or tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the authorities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 36 years
∎ (S)/he must be fluent in both spoken and written English and Bangla;
∎ Computer literacy in standard business software (i.e. Microsoft Office Packages) and (internet) services;
∎ Advanced computer literacy and familiarity with trade-related databases and analytical software;
∎ Some experience in trade or economics related research would be an advantage;
∎ Experience:
∎ An experience of minimum 4 years in a relevant sector is required.
∎ Some conditions may be relaxed in case of truly exceptional and competent candidates.

Salary:
∎ Monthly upto Tk.55,000/- (Consolidated)
