This unique role combines graphics design expertise with IT-based research support, ensuring impactful visual communication and seamless technical assistance for academic and research initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Graphics Design & Communication
Design visually engaging reports, infographics, charts, and promotional materials that communicate research findings effectively.
Develop branded content for the website, social media platforms, conferences, and events.
Create professional presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Design visually compelling layouts for academic publications and research reports.
Stay updated on trends in visual design and integrate innovative approaches into outputs.
IT & Technical Support
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment (projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems) during events, seminars, and lectures.
Configure and manage online meeting platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet) for webinars, virtual classes, and hybrid events.
Provide real-time technical troubleshooting during live events to ensure smooth delivery.
Maintain, update, and back up research databases and faculty members profile database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Assist with developing and updating conference/event website, including maintaining the event registration process.
Provide cybersecurity awareness and data protection support for research teams.
Collaborate with the IT department to set up secure file-sharing systems for confidential project work.
