• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• FCPS- training completed

Job Responsibilities:

• Clinical Patient Management:

  • Conduct daily ward rounds, assess patients, and formulate management plans.

  • Perform physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and order investigations.

  • Manage, prescribe, and review medications and treatment plans.

  • Provide care for patients in acute, chronic, or specialty areas within internal medicine.

• Acute Care and On-Call Duties:

  • Lead the medical team during acute on-call shifts.

  • Act as the primary referring doctor for admissions, acting as a gatekeeper for the medical assessment unit.

  • Manage medical emergencies and high-acuity patients.

• Supervision and Education:

  • Supervise, mentor, and teach junior medical staff (interns/house officers) and medical students.

  • Assist in the training and evaluation of junior doctors.

• Communication and Administration:

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation.

  • Counsel patients and distressed relatives regarding diagnoses and prognoses.

  • Communicate with specialists and coordinate referrals for further care.

• Governance and Development:

  • Participate in clinical audits, research projects, and quality improvement activities.

  • Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
