∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide leadership and support to Country Teams to ensure the effective delivery of the progamme in each country and that best practise is shared.
∎ To undertake specific duties to ensure the effective delivery of the programme including stakeholder management both internally and externally to ensure that the benefits of the programme are realised.
∎ To understand the HE and development sectors in the region and identify how the programme can both contribute and benefit
∎ To work closely with the other Regional Managers and the UK team to ensure impact is achieved across the programme.
∎ To provide a monthly report covering countries within the region to the UK Project Manager, leading to the production of the annual report to CSC. Reports to include progress against KIPs, annual plans, opportunities and issues
∎ To be a source of specialist expertise for the British Council in the specific areas of higher education and to act as an internal consultant in those fields
∎ To plan, monitor and report on budgets using SAP
∎ To lead the higher education team and offer support to project managers and project co-ordinators.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 - 5 years of experience of working in programmes management in education sector in a similar role.
∎ Track record of working in education sector and development sectors in Bangladesh

Salary: Tk. 196000 (Monthly)

∎ Transport allowance of BDT 9,000 per month plus other benefits according to the organisation's policy
