Responsibilities & Context:
To conduct repair and maintenance of trailers refrigeration units and tractor cab air conditioning system in a safe manner and to defined standards.
Carryout recommended maintenance schedules on refrigeration units and air conditioning systems as detailed at proper intervals
Diagnose and rectify associated problems.
Check units and report on suitability to maintain product within the laid down specifications.
Overhaul associated systems such as compressors, three way valves and expansion valves etc.
Read and understand technical data and manuals .Downloading of information in reefer units & tractors using manufacture recommended diagnosing equipment.
Report difficulties, problems or unsafe systems of work to superiors.
Carry out repairs against the budget economically
