Responsibilities & Context:
- Ensure all customer emails are answered within 24hrs and all actions have been taken promptly
- Analyze customer progress reports in terms of growth/shortcomings/product and price points, get customer feedback on orders and close the orders with clarity on cost/ margin
- Review new tech packs and developments to identify any critical points and provide the right details to the factory
- Suggest the right factory for the right product and participate in the factory selection process from sample stage
- Take the list of daily issues from each order for each factory and address the problems
- Ensure quick decision making by involving the Team Manager / Quality Manager on critical issues
- Take the lead on Pre-production meetings
- Ensure all customer requirements are met in production based on customer tech packs.
- Recommend any changes to the products or process improvements, which can help make production friendlier for knitting/linking/construction without changing the aesthetics of the garment.
- Check the production/QC files is complete prior handing over to the QA department.
- Conduct production meetings with the factories and QA team as per the allocated time and follow up with the factories on the progress of the orders.
- Book production space with factories in advance and maintain capacity utilization chart which is to be updated at all times.
- Select and visit different production, printing, and embroidery factories and build long-term relationships for future orders
- Evaluate factory performance regularly, give feedback to the Team Manager concerning factory issues and recommending solutions.
- Source and develop new factories as per requirements and regularly introduce new products, new yarns, new factories to the team.
- Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organization.
