Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context: Responsible for front desk operations, greeting patients, handling calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining reception area.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Core Responsibilities

    • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a courteous and professional first impression.

    • Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.

    • Answer incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and handle basic inquiries.

    • Schedule appointments and maintain the front desk calendar.

    • Verify patient information, update records, and assist with registration forms.

    • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.

    • Maintain confidentiality of patient data in compliance with hospital policies.

    Administrative & Support Duties

    • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and courier packages.

    • Monitor waiting area cleanliness and ensure a welcoming environment.

    • Assist with billing inquiries and guide patients on payment procedures.

    • Manage inventory of front desk supplies and request replenishments as needed.

    • Support emergency protocols by notifying relevant departments promptly.

    Communication & Coordination

    • Liaise between patients, doctors, and departments to relay accurate information.

    • Provide directions and general assistance to visitors within the hospital premises.

    • Address patient concerns with empathy and escalate issues when necessary.
