Responsibilities & Context:
- Conduct daily patient check-ups and provide clinical assessments
- Diagnose illnesses and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure proper execution of treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, medical ethics, and safety standards
- Advise patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Coordinate with specialists for further patient evaluation when necessary
- Participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings
- Oversee infection control practices and hygiene standards
- Assist in planning and implementing healthcare programs
- Prepare medical reports, discharge summaries, and documentation
- Support hospital management with medical insights when required
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
