Experience:

• At least 1 year
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• MBBS with Post Graduate degree in Cardiac Surgery/Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery with MS/FCPS/FRCS or its equivalent from any University/Institute recognized by BMDC.
• At least 01 year experience after any post graduate degree in the relevant subject recognized by BMDC.
• Minimum three scientific publications (Original Article) in Medical journals recognized by academic council of BMU/BMDC on which as First Author/Corresponding Author 01 publication and minimum 01 publication in Scopus/PubMed Indexed. 

• At least 1 year
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• Age 28 to 45 years

• At least 01 year work experience in Cardiac Surgery in a reputed Center.
• Punctuality in attendance.
• Attendance to patients and briefing of seniors on patient condition.
• Participation at CME meeting.
• Enhancing clinical and non - invasive knowledge and skills.
• Record of prompt and timely attendance to patients.
• Able to deal with surgical emergencies.
• Minimum clinical skills include ability to open and close chest, harvest conduit, full knowledge about the steps of surgery.

Job Summery:

Directly responsible for the patients assigned to the incumbent by the Head of Department/Senior consultant/Consultant under whom he/she be placed and manage cardiac surgery patients as per therapeutic and other policies set up by the Head of Department/Senior Consultant of Cardiac Surgery. The incumbent will need to work in a roster as approved by the Head of Department. He/She needs to look after patients in pre and post operative words.

Essential Functions:

• Attend to OPD patients as assigned.
• Shall educate & train the resident doctors in the department
• Work and manage patients with utmost care and diligence.
• Participate actively in the CME programs arranged by the hospital.
• Assist the Head of Cardiac Surgery and senior Consultants all types of Cardiac Surgery.
• Develop excellent interpersonal skills and rapports with peers, patients and nursing staffs.
• Participate in the OT as a member of the surgical team.
• Attend promptly to the patients in ICU, Step down ICU, Surgery ward, General Wards and cabins as assigned by the Head of Department or by superior.
• Carry out any other job assigned by the Head of the Department/Sr. Consultant/Consultant.
• Attend duties on time following the approved roster.

As per organization rules. 03 years training is recognized by BCPS.
