Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters Degree in Finance/Accounting from reputed public, private or any foreign universities.
∎ Partly qualified CMA/CA/CFA will be highly preferred for Analysts & Rating Analysts.
∎ Fully qualified CMA/CA/CFA will be highly preferred for Senior Rating Analysts.
Job Context:
∎ The Bangladesh Rating Agency Limited (BDRAL), a subsidiary of Dun & Bradstreet South Asia Middle East Ltd. (DBSAME), is a full fledged credit rating agency licensed by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) and accredited by Bangladesh Bank (BB).
∎ BDRAL is seeking application from competent, dynamic, dedicated and self-motivated individuals to fill up the following position.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing and evaluating clients' credit data, financial statements and other relevant documents and information in order to conduct the credit rating.
∎ Prepare the rating note containing rating recommendation in a time bound.
∎ Interact with client for information, data and documents needed for rating. Conferring with Banks, NBFIs and other references to exchange credit information on clients.
∎ Performing financial statement analysis and credit analysis through MS Excel and specialized rating software to recommend the rating to the rating committee. Develop and improvise spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing rating models.
∎ Actively participating in rating activities and committees, within assigned portfolio, including assisting in the surveillance of ratings.
∎ Preparing and assembling data for presenting the rating note to the Rating Committee along with analysis, findings, and recommendations.
∎ Conducting necessary research for preparing industry analysis report.
∎ Assisting in developing rating methodology.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experienced in handling large corporate credit analysis, preferably with exposure to multiple industry sectors.
∎ Impeccable understanding of financial models, financial data, financial ratios & financial statement analysis.
∎ Analytical mind having thorough understanding of financial markets and business environment.
∎ Strong attention to detail & ability to notice discrepancies in data.
∎ Committed to maintain compliance of both external and internal rules and regulation.
∎ Knowledge about all related rules and regulations.
∎ Possess in-depth knowledge about credit rating.
∎ Experience Requirements: Adequate experience will be preferred.
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills
∎ Concise verbal & written communication skills.
∎ Strong proficiency in MS Office suite & general computer use.
∎ Rating agency experience will be an added advantage.
