∎ Applicants should have good working experience with Woven Bottom, Top’s and Knit product.
∎ Applicants should have experience in the following areas: Woven & Knit, Pattern Making, Quality Control/Audit, Sewing process, Washing & Finishing
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform various types of inspections while identifying and controlling non-conforming products during production.
∎ Train factory QCs to provide solutions and proactively guide factories to avoid non-conforming products to the team.
∎ Follow through on risk assessment, customer comments, check and verify all comments from Size Set, conduct Pre-Production Meeting (PPM) and start pilot and bulk production.
∎ Ensure style files and all relevant approvals received from merchant and explain all points to the factory to start the order perfectly.
∎ Escalate exceptions and delays to team members for necessary action.
∎ Follow up online set up and ensure all process controls and correct machines are in place to achieve required quality levels and production output as planned.
∎ Initiate quality improvement projects (Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, housekeeping etc) in factories and monitor progress with MIS weekly and monthly.
∎ Check workmanship, quality, measurement, fitting, materials as per tech-packs and highlight discrepancies in production.
∎ Drive daily production, meet factory top management and solve issues.
∎ Conduct in-line, pre-final, packing audit and Final Random Inspection (FRI) as per SOP and make sure customers quality, test, packaging requirements are fully satisfied and ensure no potential risks.
∎ Segregate rejection lot and keep record and ensure leftover garment control procedure is maintained.
∎ Ensure product safety, such as mold prevention, pest control, sharp tool control, pull test, bonding test, minimum neck stretches, lab and chemical test according to organization’s and customer standard.
∎ Handle all the third party in-line and final inspections effectively.
∎ Facilitate night inspections or any urgent work with special approval from immediate superior.
∎ Be transparent and communicate delivery, quality or any work-related issues with Supervisor or GM Quality to resolve proactively.
∎ Evaluate factory performance, DHU monthly report and ensure target for development in production.
∎ Follow up buyer requirement in PP meeting sample & bulk Cutting, Sewing, washing and finishing of garments and troubleshoot where required
