∎ The successful candidate will be a part of the research team to oversee qualitative data collection process on the topic called "Scientific Evaluation of the Psychosocial Impacts of Baby Friendly Spaces in Low-Resource Humanitarian Settings".
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Your detailed responsibilities in this position will be:
∎ Objective 1: Conducting qualitative survey (focus groups and interviews) in the host communities and Rohingya camps at Action Contre la Faim (ACF) working areas
∎ Being trained to moderate / facilitate focus groups and workshops
∎ Contributing to the finalization of research tools/discussion guides (questions asked in interviews and focus groups) according to the local context.
∎ Support survey assistants in recruiting potential research participants
∎ Travel between survey sites to perform random spot checks and observation of survey assistants.
∎ Ensure that the discussions are all recorded on the digital audio recorder and uploaded to a computer
∎ Communicate daily with survey assistants to track progress and identify challenges encountered in the field
∎ Liaise between the field team and the survey assistants for communicating progress, challenges, and proposed solutions on a regular basis while surveys are in the field
∎ Coordinate with other departments for smooth implementation of survey process.
∎ Objective 2: Training and capacity building of survey assistants.
∎ Manage survey assistants (providing individual action plan, skills & performance evaluation and provided supportive feedback)
∎ Provide technical support in the development of evaluation materials including survey instruments and training guides
∎ Oversee pilot testing of interview guides and incorporate the findings into final research tools.
∎ Train the survey assistants on the overall qualitative data collection process and research tools.
∎ Participate in the training of field staff/ enumerators.
∎ Regularly follow-up with the survey assistants to identify their training needs and build their capacity as needed.
∎ Objective 3: Quality assurance, data management, and reporting
∎ Writing and proof reading Word reports and preparing PowerPoint presentations
∎ Apply innovative approaches and techniques to ensure quality of data.
∎ Prepare implementation guide, field supervision guideline and data management framework.
∎ Prepare quality, detail and efficient survey plan for the field team to be deployed;
∎ Follow the timeline of data collection and take necessary steps ensuring the quality.
∎ Provide significant support to the survey assistants, including ongoing verification of data entered during the data entry process
∎ Write field reports, weekly reports to update progress to the base program manager and research coordinator at HQ.
∎ Ensure confidentiality of all data and reports
∎ For participation at the request of the Country Director and the Field Coordinator to visits of donors
∎ For ACF's representation to MHPSS working group, Health cluster, Protection cluster, child protection and GVB sub coordinating his/her activities with the other sectors and ACF departments for rationalized use of the resources and maximum integration.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience:
∎ More than 2-year experience in in the related field is required (qualitative research and data management, qualitative interviewing, policy analysis, case studies etc.). Record of scholarly writings on qualitative research and evaluation methods is an advantage.
∎ Skills:
∎ Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Strong computer, coordination and communication skills. Advanced analytical skills and ability produce clear, concise analysis and draw recommendations. Good command of English (spoken and written). Ability to believe and follow ACF's principles and values. High capacity of work, able to overcome stress and work under pressure, with high degree of flexibility.
Salary:
∎ Gross monthly Salary BDT 93,699/;
