Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the school library, ensuring that it is an inviting and resourceful space for students and staff.
- Collaborate with teachers to support the integration of information literacy skills into the PYP/DP curriculum.
- Develop and implement library programs that encourage reading and inquiry among students.
- Curate and maintain a diverse and age-appropriate collection of print and digital resources.
- Guide students in effective research techniques and the responsible use of information.* Promote a culture of reading within the school through book talks, reading challenges, and other initiatives.
- Stay updated on best practices in school librarianship and IB philosophy.
