Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a Purchase Officer who will buy medicines and products from pharmaceutical companies over the phone. You will talk to suppliers, place orders, and make sure the products arrive on time.
Main Responsibilities:
Call pharmaceutical companies to place orders.
Negotiate prices and delivery dates with suppliers.
Keep good relationships with suppliers.
Follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery.
Keep records of purchases and invoices.
Work with the accounts and stock team to manage payments and requirements.
Stay updated about product availability and prices.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing). Running students can apply if they don’t have to attend classes regularly (this is a full-time position).
Experience in purchasing or procurement (preferably in healthcare or pharma).
Good communication skills, especially on calls.
Negotiation and record-keeping skills.
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, etc.).
