Job Context:
∎ THE PROJECT
∎ After studying needs in the Cox`s Bazar district, BSF is launching activities around themes linked to education and training, access to information, and protection for the communities in the region.
∎ The project will serve both refugees and local communities with 5 Ideas Box dedicated to provide services/activities in the areas of information, expression/communication, NFE and recreation, and Koombooks kits for outreach activities. This pilot project should allow customizing the contents and services according to local needs and languages.
∎ THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT ARE:
∎ To empower youth and women through an access to informal education and vocational trainings
∎ To provide a quality access to information, educational and cultural resources
∎ To foster social cohesion and strengthen communities` resilience through the promotion of community interaction and participation
∎ The project will start in april with an initial training of the entire team and the deployment of the 5 Ideas Box and 10 Koombook in the field.
∎ CONDITIONS OF HIRING
∎ Status: National, Non-Managerial
∎ Contract length: Full time, 31st December 2019

∎ POSITION PROFILE
∎ Within the implementation of those activities, under the direct supervision of the Community Center responsible in a local Bangladeshi village and in close collaboration with BSF Programme Advisor and the BSF Ideas Box Advisor, the responsibilities include the following:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and manage the team of facilitators and volunteers in the Ideas Box
∎ Mobilize partners to use the Ideas Box tools and resources (organize activities within the space or outreach activities
∎ Handle relations with local authorities and other actors in the camp
∎ Support the teams in leveraging the activity schedules and ensure consistency with other partners' activities
∎ Manage the project within the Ideas Box (strategic adaptation, project scheduling, capitalization...) and ensure its coherence with overall project objectives
∎ Report on the Ideas Box activities and collect facilitators' feedbacks
∎ Contribute to the Ideas Box community of practice.

∎ Team leadership, management and coordination
∎ Project management (design, set-up, evaluation, capitalization)
∎ Training and facilitation experience
∎ Knowledge of cultural programming methodologies
∎ Stakeholder management and influencing: capacity for communication and adaptation with different stakeholders (local authorities, partners, group leaders, volunteers), and to have them cooperate operationally
∎ Communication with communities
∎ Understanding of monitoring and evaluation, and participatory approaches to humanitarian/development interventions
∎ Data collection & reporting and activities
∎ IT skills: handling and working with digital tools such as tablets and computers
∎ Familiarity with humanitarian principles (desirable)
∎ Capacity for coordinating and mobilizing partnering resources
∎ Specific skills in theatre/art/ music/books will be appreciated

∎ Bangla and Chittagonian fluent
∎ Good knowledge of English
