Job Context:
∎ The Leprosy Mission International-Bangladesh (TLMI-B) is a member of The Leprosy Mission (TLM) which is an International Christian faith based organization, committed to change the lives of persons affected by leprosy. TLMI-B is working in Bangladesh since 1991 as partner of Government of Bangladesh to eliminate the cause and consequences of leprosy to achieve its vision `leprosy defeated, lives transformed`. Also, it works for the social rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy, disability and social exclusion. Currently, TLMI-B invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for its program `Activating and Engaging Partnerships to reduce leprosy in Bangladesh (AEP)` for the following position:
∎ Job Location: Dhaka & Sylhet region (frequent travel to the other districts as well).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Project Manager/s and partners -in areas of programs relating to advocacy, capacity building, research, community-based rehabilitation and networking.
∎ Regular field visit to assist partners for project implementation, conducting training and workshop for GoB health staff, partners staff and community leaders, visit Self-Help groups, federation formed by People affected by leprosy, monitor SHGs and federation financial and empowerment process, house visit of people affected by leprosy, liaison with local health department and other GoB and NGOs service provider/department.
∎ Assist to organize and conduct workshop, training, conference, seminars for project staff/beneficiaries/partners/stakeholders.
∎ Help to collect, prepare and compile quarterly/six monthly and events reports and support for quality documentation
∎ Assist in materials development.
∎ Support to maintaining effective relationship with TLMI-B projects, partners, other NGOs, media and relevant Government department and other stakeholders.
∎ Assist for monitoring, data collection and survey and Support team to conduct research
∎ Support for preparing training module, relevant guidelines and CBO related policies
∎ Assist to prepare project proposal, research protocol and concept note.
∎ Liaison and coordinate with TLMI-B projects and partners for advocacy work being done or to be done at the project level.
∎ Help/assist any necessary work assigned by TLMI-B authority

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4 years of experience in working with, right based NGO/INGOs and government offices in projectimplementation, lobbying and advocacy.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali;
∎ Proficient in MS Office packages (Especially, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
∎ Good presentation, facilitation and note-taking skills;
∎ Establish and ensure effective working relationships with the stakeholders;
∎ Knowledge and experience on Leprosy, disability and community empowerment process will be given preference;
∎ Ability to work in a team under pressure and with minimum support.

∎ Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally, sometimes at short notice.

Salary:
∎ Monthly gross BDT 32000.00-35000.00(Higher range will determine on the basis of experience and/or qualifications) plus other benefits as per organizational policy.
