Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor's degree in environment/ Agriculture/ Climate change/ Disaster management/ Social Science/ Anthropology or other related discipline.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Duty station : HEKS/EPER Country Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh
∎ Reportable to : Country Director, HEKS/EPER
∎ Language Required : Both English and Bengali
∎ Duration : Initially 12 Months (Subject to renewal based on performance)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preferably 5-10 years practical experience in the relevant field of livelihood development climate change, social justice, and inclusion.
∎ Minimum 3years of experience in INGOs.
∎ Ability to work independently with communities and partners
∎ Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
∎ Experience and strong capabilities in strategy development and implementation.
∎ Excellent knowledge of English and Bangla, both written and verbal.
∎ Tailors language, tone, style, and format to match the audience;
∎ Team leadership, management skills and willingness to frequent field visit.
∎ Excellent communication, representation and networking skills.
∎ Experience in the use of computers and office software packages, (i.e. MS word, excel, PowerPoint etc.) and database packages are required.
∎ Has strong ability to establish, build and maintain effective working relationships with project staff and other stakeholders to facilitate the provision of required support.
∎ Able to perform a broad range of specialized activities aimed at effective and efficient functioning of the project
∎ Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
∎ Knowledge on the local laws and regulations.
∎ Professional, cooperative, efficient and effective working attitude.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and handle diverse situation
Salary: Tk. 89233 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per project budget.
