·  Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision – Dynamism, Good report writing, Presentation & Computer skills, etc.

·   Strong team management skills with the ability to work independently and guide teams under minimal supervision.

·   Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including WaSH and health intervention in emergency/humanitarian situation including project management, develop and execute strategic plans.

·   Sound knowledge on using different software related to data entry, analysis, report writing and preparing presentation etc. in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude.

·   Work experience in Cox's Bazar is preferable.

. Fluency in English and Bangla; knowledge of Rohingya/Chittagonian dialect is an asset.



Responsibilities & Context:

The proposed position of Project Manager is required to fulfill the operational and to expedite the implementation of the newly awarded IRC -supported project, ensuring timely implementation, accountability, and achievement of the project’s intended outcomes.

·   Responsible for the overall project management, implementation and monitoring programme outputs and managing progress against the outcomes defined in the project document & sectoral guidelines and national strategy.

· Support emergency preparedness and response activities, including contingency planning and rapid response.

·  Produce high quality and timely reports as required by the funding agency and for NGO Forum (within agreed reporting schedules as required) and also ensure documentation of lessons learnt, good practice and case studies to contribute in broader sector learning.

· Ensure that capacity building plans and performance management systems are in place to develop the requisite competencies in project staff to ensure ongoing sustainability and quality of response.

·  Facilitate and coordinate donor field visits, ensuring informative and engaging presentations that detail the technical aspects and analytical progress of projects.

·  Maintain communication and coordination with local authorities, Sector partners and implementing agencies under the guidance of Organizational Policy.

· Support liaison with government bodies such as RRRC Office, DC Office, APBN, DPHE etc. to ensure administrative compliance and collaboration.

· Identify and report emerging operational risks, challenges or field-level issues to line supervisor.

·  Support teamwork, motivation and accountability within field staff and community-level volunteers.

·   Support team planning, duty allocation and problem-solving for effective task completion.

· Assist in staff supervision, performance evaluation and capacity-building initiatives for field-level personnel.

· Oversee strategic management and successful program implementation, ensuring program quality according to Sectoral & SPHERE standards.
