∎ Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh.
∎ There is a vacancy for the following contractual position based at Nilphamari District for the SHOW Project funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) through Plan International;
∎ Job Summary: Responsible for the achievement of the objectives defined for the SHOW Project through provision of an efficient, effective and high-quality service delivery in the Nilphamari District. Overall responsible to lead a team of over 700 staff through supportive supervisions and fulfills donor requirements and providing right direction and decision in time.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To give leadership in professional behaviour and integrity, and to promote unity and peace among all program staffs
∎ Responsible to oversee implementation of the assessment, consultations and scaling up of the SHOW Project's service delivery as per plan in the program areas
∎ Supervise the staff of the SHOW project & overall program monitoring, reporting and financial management according to the budget of the project
∎ Planning, designing and implementation of training need assessment and assist to organizing the training locally or centrally
∎ Provide technical assistance directly to the staffs setting up the project for ensuring quality service delivery and implementation
∎ Undertake field visits to monitor project activities as well as conduct periodic program reviews with donors. Undertake action on operational procedures affecting project implementation and management
∎ Assist Technical Coordinators and Project Officers in setting program goals, planning, implementation, assessment and dissemination.
∎ Collate information needed for donor reporting and send reports to concerned management with consultation of CHDP Director
∎ Develop monitoring tools and schedule, and ensure that program monitoring and evaluation are conducted periodically
∎ Ensuring Quality of Care (QOC) at service delivery points and establishing Quality Assurance (QA) System
∎ Make an arrangement for the evaluation of the project and the documentation of lessons learnt, in consultation with donor & LAMB management
∎ Assist to ensure the monthly refreshers meeting for project staff and staff coordination meeting on regular basis
∎ Ensure the successful implementation of the planning, monitoring and evaluation and reporting systems for the program that meet the donors and LAMB’s needs
∎ Take necessary steps for periodic program monitoring and report to LAMB management.
∎ Provide supportive supervision for outreach/peripheral others project’s activities as per need
∎ Attend meetings and disseminate program activities / feedbacks
∎ Ensure that impact of the program and lesson learned were documented properly
∎ Assist to enhance knowledge and skill of staffs on documentation, record keeping, program presentation, facilitation through follow up, coaching and mentoring
∎ Take initiative to generate funds as per community needs and maintains documentation of proposals, agreements, log frame, budget, reports
∎ Negotiate a viable annual budget with donor, and manage & control expenditure as per agreed budget.
∎ Ensure that no agreements or plans are made in short or long-term without central LAMB management agreement
∎ Ensure good communication between LAMB and donor at central and local level
∎ Ensure in collaboration with all LAMB Project Officers that effective communication occurs between departments and that the components have the necessary resources to fulfill the objectives of the various programs
∎ Analyze decision making that is specific to project and community and provide this information for dissemination.
∎ Any other duty as may be assigned by the CHDP Director or Executive Director.
∎ Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health:
∎ Ensure prayer at beginning of daily work, before meeting, workshop, seminar & trainings
∎ Ensure availability of religious books and references at all offices, sub-offices/centers
∎ Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach in communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts
∎ Ensure religious values and organizational values of staff
∎ Ensure that all community staff understand LAMB Mission, vision and values
∎ Be example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision and values
∎ Comply with PLAN Bangladesh & LAMB policies and practices with respect to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunity and other relevant policies and procedures.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 10 years’ experience in Health project management. Valid motorcycle driving license is required.
