Job Context:
∎ Rohingya Response will lead, develop and manage HFH B programs in camps. The Project manager will also provide strategic direction to the response programme in collaboration with the National Director. The Response Manager will assist the National Director in identifying needs and resources and elaborating programmatic, operational, and strategic and leadership recommendations for the emergency response. The post-holder will develop and manage Habitat Bangladesh programmes in camps. S/he will ensure that all relevant policies and procedures with respect to child safeguarding, safety and security, code of conduct, equal opportunities and other relevant policies are in place. The post holder will play a leading role in the effective scale up and management of Rohingya response programmes to increase impact and enable positive change.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Responsibilities:
∎ Project Manager is responsible in ensuring quality implementation and M&E on the ground both the Rohingya as well as the host community. She/he would develop and maintain an efficient, cohesive team, ensure capacity building, while ensuring effective coordination and relationships with the other national and International agencies, govt. officials, beneficiaries, donors and all areas of the operations.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsible for project implementation on the ground.
∎ Conduct background research on proposal opportunities, assist in the collection and analysis of information necessary for proposal development. In coordination with the head of Resources development manager identify new funding opportunities and assist in the proposal development process.
∎ Provide technical support to the team on project implementation and monitoring
∎ Assume overall responsibility of Rohingya response in collaboration with the National Director, other relevant senior management members.
∎ In coordination with relevant SMT members, s/he will ensure the preparation of a timely programme delivery and submitting the donor reports on project activities in compliance with relevant internal or external donor requirements.
∎ Liaise with government and other key stakeholders on the ground to ensure smooth implementation of the project and also approvals, clearances and completion certificates from the government
∎ Create and maintain collaborative relations and where appropriate partnerships with government, other I/NGOs, UN agencies, civil society, bi-lateral missions and donors.
∎ Work with the ND and relevant SMT on identifying ideas from the ground for new project designs
∎ Ensure optimal safety and security management procedures and practices are in place for the emergency response programme and constantly monitor the safety and security situation, adapting staff safety and security procedures accordingly in collaboration with National Director.
∎ Designing and developing the capacity-building work plan for staff, partners and other stakeholders, in accordance with the response plan; Provide leadership to coordinate and manage the partnership function of the response and manage the contractors;
∎ Responsibilities may vary according to project priorities and the job description may change time to time.
∎ General:
∎ Comply with HFHI policies and practice with respect to safeguarding, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Around 8 years of experience on Program Management especially in a post emergency context
∎ At least 5 years professional experience of working in areas around Humanitarian Response and Refugee Crisis
∎ Good understanding of the Rohingya Crisis and understanding of local language.
∎ Strong leadership skills with extensive knowledge of partnership relationships and managing contractors
∎ Ability to coordinate well with the government and other stakeholders
∎ A very high written skills in English
∎ Motivation and commitment to humanitarian concepts and values of Habitat for Humanity.
∎ Energy and stamina to withstand long working hours in often stressful conditions
∎ Capacity to handle multi tasks & prioritize job responsibilities
∎ Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team ?
∎ Good hand on reporting. ?

Salary:
∎ Tk. 100000 - 120000 (Monthly)
∎ Consolidate Salary: Approximately Taka 100,000 120,000 per month including all benefits except Medical Insurance.
