Job Context:
∎ LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training, and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh.
∎ There is a vacancy for the following contractual position based at Nageswari Upazila, Kurigram District for the Women Led Inclusive DRR & CCA Through Resilient Livelihood project as follows:
∎ Job Summary: Responsible for leading the achievement of the pre-defined project objectives maintaining all compliance policies of donor, LAMB, and government. The key role of this position involves project activity planning, leading implementation, and manage staffs; program monitoring and report writing; maintain relation with donor; maintain networking and leading advocacy works; and financial management. Responsible for developing detail implementation plan and ensure program accomplishment; identify project risk and develop mitigation strategy; provide consultancy services and training to the beneficiary farmers/farmer groups; communicate project objectives and motivate staff; monitor program and budgetary progress; write monthly report, capture lesson learning and change stories, assist for six-monthly, annual, and final report writing; maintain communication with donor, municipality, local/district/divisional level government officials, NGOs, and project stakeholders; and approve documents within the level of authority. Practice and promote organizational vision, mission, values, and safeguarding policy.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Planning, implementation and staff management:
∎ • Develop detailed implementation plan for program implementation
∎ • Identify project risk factors and prepare mitigation strategy
∎ • Ensure timely activity accomplishment within the scope and budget
∎ • Provide agricultural consultancy services for the beneficiary farmers
∎ • Provide training on climate smart agriculture for farmer groups
∎ • Identify project improvement areas and take necessary steps accordingly
∎ • Manage relationship with different internal and external stakeholders
∎ • Communicate project objectives to the staffs and motivate them
∎ • Track employee performance and review performance metrics on regular basis
∎ • Ensure the maintenance of compliance issues of both donor and LAMB
∎ 2. Program Monitoring and report writing:
∎ • Monitor activity progress as per the detailed implementation plan
∎ • Conduct field visit on regular basis to monitor project activities
∎ • Capture lesson learning from field level operations on regular basis
∎ • Write monthly program and six monthly/annual/final management report and communicate donor and internal stakeholders
∎ 3. Donor relations:
∎ • Maintain good relation with the donor
∎ • Respond to the donor enquiries when asked
∎ 4. Networking and advocacy:
∎ • Maintain good relation with Nageshwari Upazila administration and local government of project area
∎ • Establish & maintain good relation with local external stakeholders like UNO, Agriculture Office, and Upazila Health Complex
∎ • Attend NGO-networking meeting regularly and maintain good relation with like-minded NGOs
∎ 5. Financial Management:
∎ • Prepare, review and monitor project budget as per requirement of the project and donor
∎ • Approve invoice of the program within the level of authority
∎ • Review project financial report
∎ • Ensure financial compliance of both donor and LAMB
∎ 6. Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health:
∎ • Ensure prayer at beginning of daily work, before the meeting, workshop, seminar & training
∎ • Ensure availability of religious books and references at all offices, sub-offices/centres
∎ • Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach to communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts
∎ • Ensure religious and organizational values among staffs following organizational policies including safeguarding policy (child protection, adult vulnerable policy)
∎ • Promote LAMB values
∎ • Ensure that all community staff understand LAMB Mission, vision, and values
∎ • Be an example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision, and value

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years’ of experience in project management.
∎ Experience of working with the extremely poor households, SHGs/CBOs specially with women, Livestock office, Nutrition and DRR related work required.
∎ Training in nutrition, livelihood and in DRR preferable.
∎ Able to drive a motorcycle with a fully valid motorcycle driving license.

Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
