Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in primary healthcare, SRHR programming, or health project management.
Proven experience working in the development sector, preferably in health, community health, or NGO settings.

Excellent communication and report-writing skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital data tools.
Ability to travel frequently within the project area.
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of public health systems, procurement, and financial management procedures.
Familiarity with sponsorship or child-focused programming will be an advantage.
The Program Officer – Health will play a key role in ensuring the delivery and management of primary healthcare services for participants of the Sponsorship Program in Dhaka. Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the incumbent will oversee the operational and technical aspects of all health centers under the program, ensuring quality, accessibility, and efficiency in service delivery. This includes close coordination with healthcare service providers, government health departments, and other relevant stakeholders.
The position also encompasses responsibilities for managing health-related sponsorship communications and ensuring that sponsored children (SCs) and their families receive appropriate health benefits and follow-up support in line with program objectives.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
A. Health Program Implementation and Management
Lead the planning, coordination, and monitoring of all health-related activities within the Sponsorship Program.
Ensure the provision of quality primary healthcare services through effective supervision of program-affiliated health centers.
Maintain regular liaison with government health offices, local authorities, and service providers to align program interventions with public health systems.
Manage the procurement and logistics processes related to medical supplies, equipment, and health service operations in accordance with organizational and donor guidelines.
Oversee the financial management of health interventions, including budgeting, expenditure tracking, and reporting.
Support the design and execution of preventive health campaigns, health awareness sessions, and community outreach activities.
