Educational Requirements:
∎ The ideal person should have Masters in Social Studies/Development Studies/ Economics/Social Science/Statistics/Geography or graduation in Architecture/Civil Engineering from a recognized Public/private University.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. Planning and implementation
∎
∎ Prepare the detailed project implementation plan (PIP) for relevant projects and support field offices in planning and organizing activities
∎ Responsible for overall implementation of project activities complying with the policies and regulations of HFHB and donor organizations and management of projects within the constraints of the project agreement along with managing and directing the resources with fullest efficiency to best meet project objectives while providing supervision and support to Project Coordinators and partner NGO's and trouble shoots of specified project problems
∎ Ensure project level budget & take budget approval, and monitoring expenses and prepare budget variance statement in coordination with finance
∎ Review and endorse the beneficiary/slum/village/Ward selections and submit recommendation; review FTR & CR confirming that they align with project scheduled activities; review relevant Purchase Requisitions and Comparative Statements
∎ Develop, maintain and coordinate with other departments, partner NGO, relevant government agencies, NGOs, city corporations, municipalities, community leaders, Community WaSH Committee (CWC), CBOs and other stakeholders for smooth implementation of all projects
∎ Arrange national level events, forums and other opportunities to share learning, best practices, including advocacy or coordination where appropriate and utilize those
∎ Prepare presentations representing organizational work as required
∎ B. Leadership and Supervision
∎
∎ Lead, coordinate and provide and provide direction to the project team and monitor project activities and project expenditure and also conduct regular program meetings and bring outcomes/recommendations/suggestions to the attention of management
∎ Oversee the performance of the project staff, capacity building and motivation
∎ C. Monitoring and Report Development
∎
∎ Manage PIP and monitor all project activities
∎ Monitoring project related expenses and prepare budget variance statement
∎ Periodic project reports, preparation for donor submission
∎ Collect data and produce/review periodic project progress reports for donors organizations and response to donor feedback/query with relevant documents
∎ D. Proposal Development Support
∎
∎ Support Project Development/RD team for project proposal development & need assessment, support communication team by providing data/information, case stories and best practices and support MEAL focal point to produce GMT report and in conducting research, assessment, survey, study/evaluations.
∎ E. Others
∎
∎ Support the RD & communications team to arrange volunteer program in field office and prepare case studies & stories.
∎ Oversee quality of training in the organization and provide guidance to prepare & improvement of training plan, modules/manuals
∎ Assist management in the development and execution of program policies and guidelines and do needful as and when assigned Support all HFHB initiatives as requested.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 7-9 years working experience with a Development Organizations, including 3-4 years in managerial position of program implementation
∎ Fundamental understanding of low cost housing techniques
∎ Proficiency in the English language and report writing
∎ Capable of leading and managing a wide range of staff
∎ Good command of project planning and budgeting
∎ Advance skills in MS Office
∎ Excellent communication skill both spoken & written in English & Bengali
∎ Strategic thinking, target driven and results oriented
∎ Good command of project planning and budgeting
∎ Advance leadership skills
∎ Active team player
∎ Should have a "Can Do Attitude".
