Job Context:
∎ Denar Alo Hijra Shonggho, NGO working to improve HIJRAs lives, to ensure basic needs, to ensure human rights & make efficient to the society since 2002 in Rajshahi. Denar Alo Hijra Shonggho Rajshahi is looking for a Program Coordinator for "Promotion of Women`s Leadership to advance gender equality in Bangladesh" program supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation. It is a 4 years program which will be implemented in Rajshahi, Rajshahi Upazila to ensure human rights of HIJRAs (transgender) and hijra children at grassroots level. So, for implementing the whole program currently inviting application from the qualified candidates.
∎ Job Location: Rajshahi, Rajshahi Upazila
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement Field level Activities and supervision Beneficiaries activities.
∎ Supervise Assistant Field Supervisor's day to day work.
∎ Organize Training need assessment, Beneficiaries training & training impact Assessment.
∎ Training module, manual & Curriculum development.
∎ Staff supervision and day to day management of project staff.
∎ Organize the awareness raising, campaign event/program in communities' level area coordinating with different stakeholders.
∎ Specialist knowledge of gender equality, the rights of women and girls and engaging men and boys in gender equality in theory and in practice in a development and humanitarian context;
∎ Extensive experience of working with gender mainstreaming in development programming including programme development, implementation and monitoring and evaluation
∎ Assist higher management and represent the organization for need based organizational activity.
∎ To help organize, conduct & manage different staff training & orientation.
∎ Maintain liaison & Coordination with relevant GO- NGO officials.
∎ Help to organize and conduct different meeting, seminar and workshop as per project plan.
∎ Prepare & submit necessary reports on monthly, quarterly, six monthly and yearly basis.
∎ Maintain confidentiality of the important documents & information of the organization.
∎ Attend different management meeting of organization and donor as per need and instruction of the higher authority.
∎ Ensure & supervise the proper and cost efficient utilization of project resources.
∎ Monitor the project activities on timely basis.
∎ Carry out field visit according to the needs of the project.
∎ To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when required and assigned by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ NGO, Project Coordinator/ Officer
∎ Will require frequent movement to the field.
∎ Experienced in presenting project status in the high level meeting and workshop with the donors; GO & NGO officials.
∎ Good communication skill in English and Bengali; good knowledge on staff supervision, mentoring, coaching and development.
∎ Good skills in computer operation especially with MS Office, (MS-Word, Excel, Power point and spread, internet and email applications; willing to work in pressure situation and interested to visit the remote areas of Bangladesh
Salary: Tk. 25000 (Monthly)
