Job Context:
∎ Truvalu is currently looking for a professional freelance Translator (English to Bengali) for a short-term assignment.
∎ LOCATION: Dhaka or Home-Based (Bangladesh).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Translation of documents (e.g., training modules, reports, slides) from English to Bengali.
∎ Ensure translation is correct, professional, clear and concise.
∎ Understand the context and targeted reader group.
∎ Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
∎ Ensure translated texts are culturally appropriate and sensitive to the target audience.
∎ Use simple, conversational diction, avoiding corporate jargons as much as possible to convey ideas effectively.
∎ Collaborate with team members to understand assigned task requirements and deliver high-quality translations within deadlines.
∎ Research and stay updated on industry-specific terminology and language trends to enhance translation accuracy.
∎ Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information during translation tasks.
∎ Provide linguistic expertise and contribute to improving translation processes and quality.
∎ Ensure consistency in translation and compliance with guidelines and glossaries.

Additional Requirements:

Salary:
