Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree in industrial & Production engineering, production management, Apparel manufacture Technology, or others related field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working the Lean manufacturing
∎ The technical Manager manages the Production Department. Provides advice and guides the team on technical or product related aspects whilst directing the team to achieve the set production objectives effectively.
∎ A) Analyzing new styles together with the technical manager, providing the technical input to decide production viability and liaising with merchandisers as necessary.
∎ Feedback from plant manager or technical manager
∎ B) Attending pre-production meetings, providing the technical input such as machinery, attachment availability, product quality, sewing techniques, bottleneck elimination etc.), foreseeing and taking preventive steps to avoid potential production problems. Feedback from plant manager or technical manager
∎ Performance of new styles. (Efficiency, output, throughput time, reject rates etc.)
∎ C) Ensuring that the production pilot run is carried out effectively, identifying technical and quality issues, and setting the standards for bulk production, working together with the technical teams to facilitate a smooth production flow in the bulk.
∎ Performance of new styles

∎ D) Assessing resource requirements, providing information to the management, and coordinating with the relevant parties to ensure the availability of all resources for production (including machinery, manpower, raw materials, support services, etc.) to facilitate the production operations.

∎ Availability of manpower (quantity and skills)
∎ E) Monitoring the feeding of new styles, providing technical advice sewing techniques, critical quality points, etc.) And guiding the ream to resolve all technical issues, in coordination with the technical team to ensure that all relevant parameters (such as throughput time, quality standards) are achieved to facilitate a smooth style change-over.

∎ F) Coordinating with the planning team to plan weekly and daily output targets (taking into account deliveries, SMVs and available hours), monitoring the actual output, identifying deviations and taking corrective action to ensure the completion of the planned production.

∎ Line vacuums (due to improper planning)
∎ G) Managing overall production operations, conducting daily production meetings to identify critical production issues, taking action to correct or avoid problems, advising and guiding the ream on all related aspects and coordinating with the other teams to ensure that daily production targets are achieved.
∎ Quality of advice
∎ Response time
∎ H) Monitoring and ensuring that all production performance parameters (output, efficiency, quality, on-time delivery, material consumption etc.) are met as per agreed standards, whilst also ensuring product compliance with customer requirements, to achieve the plants annual business objectives.

∎ Defect percentage Cost per standard hour
∎ On-time delivery
∎ Customer claims
∎ Material utilization
∎ Order-ship ratio
∎ I) Co-coordinating and communicating with buyer representatives and taking action to arrive at win-win solutions on the relevant issues are ensuring customer satisfaction.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ An in-depth knowledge and experience of handling men, machines and material.
∎ Knowledge on modern production tools and techniques.
∎ Knowledge on Quality Assurances system.
∎ Knowledge on minor technical issue
∎ Candidate must have sound knowledge in IE based production & operation of a large knit composite factory.
