Responsibilities & Context
1. Ensure that all products comply with applicable product safety requirements and buyer specifications.
2. Monitor the use of restricted chemicals and hazardous substances in fabrics, dyes, prints, trims, and accessories.
3. Coordinate required product safety testing, including applicable chemical and physical tests.
4. Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, applicable regulations, and relevant product safety standards.
5. Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for product safety-related nonconformity.
6. Maintain product safety documents, test reports, compliance records, and related registers.
7. Coordinate with Merchandising, Quality Assurance, Production, Washing, Printing, Embroidery, and other relevant departments.
8. Report any product safety risks or noncompliance to top management and ensure appropriate corrective action before shipment.
