Context: We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Head of Supply Chain Management (SCM) to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations in the healthcare and hygiene sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, import operations, demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and supplier relationship management to ensure uninterrupted product availability, cost efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.

• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic sourcing, procurement, import management, demand forecasting, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution.

• Ensure the timely procurement and availability of healthcare, medical consumable, hygiene, personal care, and related products.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, service agreements, and other commercial terms to achieve cost optimization.

• Manage import operations, including purchase orders, shipping coordination, customs clearance, commercial documentation, and liaison with relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare product regulations, quality requirements, import policies, and company procedures.

• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure supplier qualification, product traceability, documentation, and quality compliance.

• Establish effective demand planning and forecasting processes in coordination with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

• Optimize inventory levels and maintain appropriate safety stock to minimize stockouts, overstocking, expiry losses, and working capital requirements.

• Implement proper batch tracking, expiry-date monitoring, and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices for applicable products.

• Oversee warehouse operations, stock accuracy, storage conditions, order fulfillment, and product handling in accordance with relevant product requirements.

• Develop and monitor KPIs related to procurement savings, supplier performance, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, order fulfillment, delivery lead time, and logistics costs.

• Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity and uninterrupted product supply.

• Lead, motivate, and develop the supply chain team while establishing clear performance targets and accountability.

• Prepare annual budgets, operational plans, management reports, and strategic recommendations for senior management.

• Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, ERP utilization, data analytics, and supply chain automation.
