Experience:
Brand & Product Management — Take responsibility for assigned product(s)/brand(s) and work to grow their market share, visibility and prescription/sales.
· Ensure accurate and updated product knowledge, therapeutic benefits, and competitive advantages.
Marketing Planning & Strategy — Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for assigned products to meet business targets.
New Product Launch — Manage all activities related to launching new products: market research/feasibility, planning, coordination, rollout, promotional material design, and post-launch monitoring.
· Develop and design promotional tools:
o Visual aids, leaflets, brochures
o Video presentations
o Herbal educational content
o Product manuals
· Work closely with the creative/design team to ensure scientific accuracy and brand alignment.
Promotional Material & Campaigns — Design, prepare promotional tools/materials (e.g. packaging, advertisement, detailing aids), allocate resources, and coordinate promotional campaigns, scientific meetings or seminars (if relevant).
Market & Competitor Analysis — Monitor market trends, competitor activities, doctor / customer feedback, prescription/sales data to assess performance, adjust strategies, and identify new business opportunities.
Collaboration with Sales / Field Force — Work closely with sales or field teams; provide training to field force on product knowledge, assist them with product promotion and support them in meeting targets.
Budgeting & Resource Allocation — Prepare and manage annual/quarterly marketing and promotional budgets for assigned products/brands.
Reporting & Performance Review — Monitor product performance (sales, prescriptions) & analyze ROI (Return on Investment).
Typical Requirements / Qualifications
Educational background: B.Pharm or M.Pharm (from a recognized university).
Experience: 1–3 years for junior/executive roles in a renowned Unani Pharmaceuticals company.
· Skills & Competencies: Good communication (Bangla & English), presentation and interpersonal skills; proficiency with MS Office; Analytical ability and strategic thinking; Creativity in marketing and promotional content development; Willingness to travel for field visits, training, and market analysis.
Personal attributes: Proactive, energetic, creative/innovative, able to handle multiple tasks and meet targets under pressure.
Understanding herbal/unani product lines (herbal formulations, syrups, ointments, traditional remedies) rather than strictly allopathic drugs.
