Education:
BSc / MSc in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field OR
BPharm / MPharm with experience in personal care formulation

Additional Requirements:

Experience in cosmetic or personal care product development
Strong knowledge of surfactant systems (SLES, CAPB, Glucosides, etc.)
Knowledge of preservative systems and IFRA fragrance compliance
Understanding of stability testing and quality control
Experience working in FMCG or personal care manufacturing
Knowledge of GMP standards
Experience with scale-up production
Strong problem-solving ability
Innovation mindset for premium product development
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and optimize formulations for hand wash, liquid soap, shampoo, body wash, lotions, and related products
Ensure formula stability, compatibility, and shelf-life performance
Conduct lab trials and pilot batch testing
Select and evaluate raw materials, surfactants, preservatives, fragrances, and active ingredients
Maintain pH balance, viscosity control, and product performance standards
Conduct stability, compatibility, and microbial testing
Work closely with the production team for scale-up and batch consistency
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh regulatory standards (BSTI / DGDA where applicable)
Maintain proper documentation for formulations and SOPs
Improve cost efficiency without compromising quality
