Job Context:
∎ 100% Export Oriented Fashion Garments Manufacturing Factory ( Located at Dhaka Mirpur) is looking for smart young personnel who are ready to face the challenges and are equipped with necessary drive, motivation and hunger to make a mark in this industry. ∎ We are looking for two (02) young, energetic & creative Female Candidate who are ready to take challenges in our multinational working environment as Product Development Sr Executive/Associate to lead our inclining business operations in amplifies industry.
∎ Application for the said position with deserved female candidates are immediate for an appointment.
∎ Capacity building initiatives for the team on Adobe Illustration, Photoshop & Microsoft PowerPoint.
∎ Should be able to create concepts designs technical drawings.
∎ Coordination, facilitation and management of task within team and organization.
∎ Ability to think creatively & see the big picture as well as the small details;
∎ Capable of problem-solving & suggesting solutions; strong negotiator;
∎ Extremely flexible and adaptive to changing priorities;
∎ Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, & take on new tasks as needed;
∎ Friendly, personable, and eager to take on increasing responsibilities; seeking a person with a strong work ethic & the desire to learn and grow with the company.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Own product development process from concept to production for specific categories;
∎ Create, compile & send out tech packs/sample requests to sample department as well as production team;
∎ Manage communication with sample & production team daily on development process - sampling (initial sample, fit, PP, TOP, photo), colour standards/lab dips, costing, minimums, lead times, QC issues;
∎ Update & manage T&A daily (with style updates, MOQs, shipment dates, etc) to ensure development is on schedule; responsible for holding production team to development timelines;
∎ Request New Item Setup information from sample team as well as production team once styles are ready to be ordered; lead-times, & all new order information; enter setup information into the system;
∎ Manage sample walls, fit rack, and lab dip/fabric books - ensuring garments & swatches are well-organized, correctly labelled, & easy to access;
∎ Photoshoots - handle all aspects of each photoshoot daily (work with dummy/mannequin and live model) including report preparation, sample coordination, on-site management, post-shoot recap, & sample put back;
∎ Maintain tech pack library in conjunction with the fit technician; collaborate with team as needed;
∎ Ensure the critical path is maintained;
∎ Working with the design/Pattern team to support material sourcing/development and sampling;
∎ Assisting in tracking and recording the raw materials needed for development;
∎ Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis;
∎ Updating internal systems as well as portal;
∎ Any general administration duties needed to support the team;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years of professional experience with Fashion Design &/or Product Development;
∎ Sense of fashion trend, new materials, and fabrics.
∎ Familiar with common print, embroidery and other application techniques used for graphics on different categories of garments.
∎ Knowledge of Garment production is an advantage.
∎ Strong time-management skills and compliance to deadlines,
∎ Highly creative, possess strong fashion sense and good knowledge of graphic trends and new graphic presentation and production skills.
∎ Strong knowledge of PC operation including Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.
∎ Thinking out-of-the-box.
∎ Responsible, Independent, creative, self-motivated and willing to work under pressure & tight schedules.
∎ Propose seasonal graphic concepts, trends and stories.
∎ Working closely with design / production team for collaboration projects.
∎ Must have a good understanding of both written and spoken English.
