Experience:
PhD degree from a recognized university.
First Class (or equivalent CGPA) in both Honors and Master’s degrees from a recognized university.
At least 10 years of teaching experience at a reputed university.
At least 15 years of experience in research and academic administration.
Proven leadership experience in higher education institutions.
Strong record of research publications in reputed journals.
Good knowledge of university governance, accreditation, and quality assurance frameworks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead large academic teams and manage multi-disciplinary faculties.
Experience in establishing or scaling academic institutions will be highly preferred.
Strong network within academic, research, and policy-making communities.

Job Responsibilities:
Support the Vice Chancellor in overall academic leadership, policy formulation, and strategic planning.
Provide guidance in curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and academic quality assurance.
Oversee research initiatives, innovation programs, and academic collaborations (local & international).
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including UGC policies and national education standards.
Lead academic administration, including faculties, departments, and institutional development projects.
Promote a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and student engagement.
Represent the university in academic forums, accreditation bodies, and stakeholder engagements.
Contribute to institutional branding, ranking, and global academic partnerships.
