Experience:

• Bachelor`s degree from any recognized university in a related subject

• Bachelor`s degree from any recognized university in Fine Arts

• O/A level background with a Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferable.

• At least 5 years

• Teaching & related experience from an International English medium school

• Passion for teaching with correct English pronunciation

• Ability to create a safe learning environment and apply concepts to real-life situations

• Knowledge of effective classroom management strategies

• Record-keeping skills for assessment data.

• Strong English skills and basic computing proficiency. Must be able to work in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Experience interpreting curriculum requirements and planning unit plans

• Detailed lesson planning skills

• Creativity, energy, and a passion for teaching young learners

• Additional qualification in singing, dancing, or art is desirable

This position demands a high level of competence in primary class curricula, emphasizing activity-based teaching methods. The Primary School Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Academic coordination, supervision, academic plan implementation, and liaison between students, teachers, admin, and school authority.

• Observing and conducting classes according to the syllabus and academic guidelines of the school. Monitor teachers’ classes regularly and guide them.

• Daily Work Pad (DWP) monitoring, content/method/term planning

• Analyzing students' learning challenges and suggesting effective teaching approaches. Ensuring students are engaged in meaningful learning experiences.

• Supporting teachers in developing recording systems and various assessments

• Effectively communicating curriculum details to teachers, parents, and students

• Implementing the day-to-day program under the direction of the Principal/Vice Principal

• Maintaining strong professional relationships with staff, parents, and students

• Advising on teaching aids, equipment, and learning activities

• Training and Monitoring creativity in activity-based lessons to ensure a balanced approach.
