Responsibilities & Context:
- Making Awareness and importance of the PT campaign
- Proper examination of the body region before approaching for therapy
- Proper documentation of assessment and progression of the patient.
- Ensure safe use of therapeutic techniques and other instruments.
- Ensure the machines/Equipment's power supply is switched on and working properly.
- Checking indication and contraindication before using any machines to the patients.
- Counselling/educate the patient and their family/caregiver to prevent further injury.
- Effective communication with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.
- Checking the consultant's prescription summary thoroughly before providing any kind of therapy.
- Ensure that incidence or emergency codes are reported immediately and recorded accordingly.
- Inform immediately to consultant physiotherapist in case of any emergency related to patient care and illness.
- Review and evaluate patient through tests, movements, and conversation.
- Schedule exercises and therapies for patients.
- Observe and review patient progress.
