Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in reputed English medium schools or international curriculum institutions.

• Experience in organizing annual sports events, inter-school competitions, and physical fitness programs.

• Strong background in multiple sports (indoor and outdoor), athletics, and physical training.

• Both male and female can apply for this position.

• Having certificate in First Aid and Rescue operation will get preference.

Reports To : Coordinator & Vice Principal

Position Summary

The Physical Education (PE) Teacher at GIS is responsible for promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among students, while upholding the school’s strong academic standards and Islamic values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and deliver physical exercise lessons to students of different age groups (Junior Section, Medium Section & Senior Section).

• Teach a variety of physical exercise activities, including strength training, aerobic exercise, flexibility, and coordination drills.

• Flexible, energetic, and able to motivate students to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

• Monitor students` physical progress, identifying areas of improvement and providing guidance on how to improve strength, endurance, and flexibility.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities by closely supervising all exercises and providing first aid when necessary.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized physical exercise environment (e.g. field, equipment).

• Encourage student participation in school sports competitions and local community events.

• Support in organizing Annual Sports, inter-house competitions, and extracurricular sports clubs.

• Provide mentorship to student athletes and prepare teams tournaments.

• Collaborate with Academic and Admin to promote health and fitness across school activities.

• Uphold the school’s ethos of academic excellence integrated with Islamic values.
