Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have absolute control on entire medicine and surgical products in all locations in terms of pilferage, misuse, wastage, damage and expiry.
∎ Recommend space, medical technology, equipment, staffing and other resources needed by the department or service and ensure to have a process in place to respond to shortages.
∎ Plan and develop policies related to inventory, stores, materials planning, materials coding etc. that guide the delivery of quality services.
∎ Must have an experienced in ERP (Hospital Management) Software
∎ Leader ship skilled and co-ordinated to the Pharmacist
∎ Must have an experienced with the EOQ method of medicine order and Maintain inventory at optimum level to ensure continued hospital operation.
∎ Develop systems and procedures relating to functions of the department and ensure that procedures are implemented appropriately.
∎ Identify, in writing, the services to be provided by the department, and integrate those services with the services of other departments.
∎ Advise the Management on the specification and quality of the medicine being proposed to purchase.
∎ Regularly select adequate quality improvement measures for the department based on the need for improvement in line with the policies and strategies of the organization.
∎ Implement the quality measures to reduce variation and improve processes within the department or service, which are useful in the evaluation of department performance, individual staff performance and contribute to the evaluation of the organization performance.
∎ Ensure that purchase orders (PR) are placed on time and followed up for timely supply of materials and consumables.
∎ Ensure proper storage of drugs under proper sanitation, temperature, light, moisture, ventilation, segregation and security.
∎ Authorize issue of medicine, & consumables to various pharmacy outlets.
∎ Facilitate periodic audit in the medicine stores for the implementation of the policies and protocol within the department.
∎ Facilitate periodic stock verification as per the hospital policies.
∎ Management of expired drugs as per the Hospital policy.
∎ Any others task that management requires.

∎ Age at least 35 years
