Responsibilities & Context:
- Assist in preparing and dispensing prescribed medicines to patients.
- Ensure correct labeling, dosage, and packaging of medications.
- Maintain proper documentation for issued drugs
- Support in receiving, storing, and arranging medicines and consumables.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or near-expiry drugs.
- Follow procedures for maintaining cold chain and controlled substances.
- Provide basic guidance to patients on dosage, storage, and precautions (as instructed by senior pharmacists)
- Assist nurses and doctors in timely availability of medicines during shifts
- Follow hospital policies, Bangladesh Pharmacy Council guidelines, and drug regulatory standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the pharmacy area.
- Report any discrepancies or adverse drug reactions to the supervising
- pharmacist.
- Help in record keeping, daily log updates, and billing support.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and stock verification.
- Any other task assigned by authority.
