Responsibilities & Context: Job Context:
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of the largest and most diversified conglomerates in Bangladesh, is looking for a smart, proactive, and tech-savvy professional to work as Personal Secretary / Executive Assistant to one of its Directors.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka that requires excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills. The position involves approximately 80% work-related executive support and 20% personal assistance, helping the Director manage his professional schedule, communications, and personal errands efficiently. The ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive business and personal information with complete confidentiality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the Director’s daily calendar, appointments, meetings, and reminders to ensure efficient time management.
- Prepare agendas, notes, reports, and presentations; ensure the Director is briefed before meetings.
- Handles professional correspondence, emails, and calls on behalf of the Director with accuracy and professionalism.
- Collect, summarize, and organize information from departments to support management decisions.
- Coordinate local and international travel arrangements (tickets, visas, accommodation, itineraries).
- Maintain well-structured records and filing systems (digital and physical) for business and personal documentation.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and reliability.
- Assist in personal scheduling (appointments, bills, minor errands) as part of limited personal support duties.
- Utilize modern productivity and collaboration tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Anticipate the Director’s needs and take proactive steps to ensure seamless daily operations.
