Job Description: We are seeking for a Therapists with experience in physical therapy for children with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in both physical therapy and occupational therapy or a willingness to train in both areas. This role involves working closely with children and their families to provide therapeutic interventions, develop treatment plans, and support their overall development and well-being.
Responsibilities: Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy services to children with disabilities, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and coordination. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure holistic care for each child. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress. Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
