∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversees the work of nursing staff, support staff, and other healthcare.
∎ Develops and manages staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
∎ Provides orientation and ongoing training for new and existing staff.
∎ Evaluates staff performance and addresses any issues or concerns.
∎ Ensures that patients receive high-quality care and their needs are met promptly.
∎ Collaborates with medical staff to implement and monitor patient care plans.
∎ Ensures that medical supplies and equipment are stocked and in good working order.
∎ Adheres to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
∎ Monitors and maintains a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
∎ Prepares and submits reports on floor operations, incidents, and patient care outcomes.
∎ Conducts regular briefings with staff to discuss updates, changes, and important information.
∎ Responds to emergencies and unexpected situations efficiently and calmly.
∎ Ensures that emergency procedures are followed and staff are trained in emergency protocols.
∎ Maintains accurate records of incidents, staff attendance, and patient care activities.
∎ Collects and analyzes feedback from patients and staff to identify areas for improvement.
∎ Implements and monitors changes aimed at enhancing the quality of care and operational efficiency.
∎ Provides support and guidance to staff to foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.
∎ Performs any other task assigned by the competent authority.
