Experience:

• At least 5 years

• Diploma in Nursing

Medical Assistant - Education on OT Technician or relevant proven certificate

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Physiotherapy center, Diagnostic Centre, Chamber

• Age 22 to 38 years

• Prepare and sterilize all surgical instruments and linen using autoclaves and other sterilization methods.

• Set up the operating table, specialized lighting, and anesthesia workstations based on the specific surgical case.

• Verify the functioning of suction machines, monitors, C-ARM (X-ray), and ventilators.

• Assist in transporting patients from wards to the OT and positioning them safely on the operating table.

• Pass sterile instruments, sponges, and supplies to the surgeon and scrub nurse with precision.

• Assist the anesthesiologist in monitoring vital signs and providing necessary IV fluids or emergency drugs.

• Strictly maintain the sterile field to prevent cross-contamination or hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).

• Perform meticulous counts of needles, sponges, and instruments before and after the surgery.

• Clean and disinfect the OT suite after each procedure; dispose of bio-hazardous waste according to hospital protocols.

• Maintain OT registers, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory records for surgical supplies.

• Ensure the OT is restocked with medications and consumables (sutures, gloves, etc.) for the next scheduled surgery.

• Communication with all Staff as needed

• Report daily, weekly, monthly as required about duty

• Ensure self discipline of Hospital practice
