Job Context:
∎ BCWS is a leading non government organization working on the issues of Labor Rights, Safety & Security, Economic Empowerment, Technical and Capacity Development of RMG workers. The project “No Silence in Violence: Action and Advocacy to Combat GBV in the Apparel Sector” is funded by C&A Foundation aiming to develop technical capacity among RMG workers to use technology, social media and to create platform from where they can raised their collective voice. BCWS will hire qualified employees in certain position.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (Rampura and Ashulia), Naraonganj, Gazipur.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Will lead the project by organizing factory workers, leaders and have capacity to built linkage with factory management and other stakeholder.
∎ Prepare monthly, weekly activity plan and based on the plan implement project activities at field level.
∎ Assist in organizing and facilitating trainings program, meeting and advocacy.
∎ Organize awareness raising training on Gender base violence, capacity development, and motivate workers to develop their skills and capacity.
∎ Identify issues, mobilize people and assist workers and community members in to address different social barriers.
∎ Organize campaign, rally, human chain and workshop.
∎ Continuously expand knowledge of community resources and build relationship
∎ Promote gender equality and women leadership in the community.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong understating of training methodology.
∎ Report writing skill in bangle and English
∎ Computer operation skill, net browsing, typing skill in Bangla and English.
