Job Context:
∎ The Oracle Applications Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, customizing and integrating Oracle e-Business Suite applications with other systems, and providing ongoing support and future enhancements of those solutions.
∎ This position will be responsible for ensuring Oracle e-Business Suite portfolio of applications are designed to meet evolving business requirements and standards for reliability, scalability, availability, and usability.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and develop utilities to ensure modular approach in programming for uniformity and to improve productivity.
∎ Work with Oracle functional business analysts to gather business requirements, translate them into specifications documents.
∎ Understand project requirements and develop design specifications.
∎ Perform initial design reviews and recommend improvements.
∎ Write clear codes and prepare coding documentation.
∎ Collaborate with business partners, Systems Analysts and Application Developers and to translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs.
∎ Meet service level agreements for production support, response, and resolution.
∎ Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows independently or as a part of a team.
∎ Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards.
∎ Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise.
∎ Review code and make recommendations based on industry best practices and participate in analytical discussions to ensure that the business requirements are met.
∎ Provide technical assistance to other developers as and when needed.
∎ Analyze and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner.
∎ Develop Oracle reports, database procedures and UNIX shell scripts.
∎ Modify existing codes to optimize Oracle applications.
∎ Assist in system integration, acceptance testing and bug fixing.
∎ Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Knowledge of OAF and SOA knowledge.
∎ Good Techno functional knowledge of O2C (Order to Cash) Process.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
