∎ Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing, preferably in an operating theatre setting.
∎ Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred.
∎ Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in surgical instrumentation and aseptic technique.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
∎ Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
∎ Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous improvement.
∎ Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
∎ Assist surgeons and surgical teams before, during, and after procedures, anticipating their needs and providing support as required.
∎ Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration, ensuring patients are properly sedated and maintained throughout surgery.
∎ Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and implants, ensuring they are in working order and readily available for use.
∎ Provide post-operative care and monitoring to patients in the recovery room, assessing their condition, managing pain, and addressing any complications or concerns.
∎ Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff, to ensure seamless coordination and communication during surgical procedures.
∎ Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and adherence to aseptic techniques.
∎ Document patient care activities, including pre-operative assessments, intra-operative interventions, and post-operative outcomes, accurately and comprehensively.
∎ Participate in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of advances in surgical techniques, equipment, and patient care practices.
∎ Position Overview: Farazy Hospital Ltd. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Theatre Nurse to join our dynamic team. The OT Nurse will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
∎ Responsibilities:
