Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the leading conglomerates in Bangladesh. MGI is currently searching for some passionate and proactive professionals for Admin Department in the plant located at Narayanganj. The incumbent will be responsible to conduct necessary administrative activities for the factory and will report to the department head.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing daily and monthly attendance through software for both permanent & casual employees and check the variance physically.

  • Assist in preparing monthly salary & overtime calculation sheets for all staff of the factory and submit them to the respective department/person for payment on time.

  • Assist in preparing and drafting office correspondence documents such as office orders, notices, circulars, meeting minutes, show cause letters, warning letters etc.

  • Assist in recruitment & selection related activities aligned with Head Office HR Department.

  • Organize and update employee personal files to ensure easy access to essential documents.

  • Assist in preparing employee’s monthly absenteeism & turnover reports to take corrective steps to reduce employee’s absenteeism & turnover.

  • Provide all types of support related to accommodation for dormitory employees.

  • Coordinate cleanliness and housekeeping to maintain a positive office environment.

  • Assist in coordinating health & safety training, and fire evacuation training once a month for all workers to ensure their preparedness and compliance with safety protocols.

  • Guide supporting staff for canteen management like hygienic wiping all tables, sweeping the floor of the canteen etc.

  • Assist in preparing various reports such as leave, attendance, overtime, night vigilance, stationary usage etc. and submit them to the immediate supervisor as and when required.
